Kantech Multi-Technology Readers provide a multi-protocol, multi-frequency solution that reads multiple 13.56 MHz smart card technologies, MIFARE® encrypted sectors, and most of the common 125 kHz proximity cards including ioProx with Kantech XSF format – all from one reader. The readers are perfect if you want to transition to smart cards over time or if you want to utilize both smart cards and proximity cards at your facility. Kantech Multi-Technology Readers make access control more powerful, more versatile, and more cost-effective by allowing you to implement a smart card solution over time. While you are transitioning to smart cards, the Multi-Technology Readers will read both the existing collection of proximity cards and smart cards.

The KT-CAB4000LDR cabinets are part of the Kantech Multi-Door Controller Kits specifically designed to house and to protect the KT-300, KT-400 and KT-NCC controllers, input modules, output modules and batteries. Large knockouts are provided at the top, sides and bottom of the cabinets for flexible cable routing. There are also two single gang electrical knockouts at the bottom of the cabinets. The KTCAB4000LDR cabinets must be surface mounted. These cabinets are UL listed as alternate enclosures.

The KT-BB100 allows a battery to be placed anywhere on the right side of any cabinet that has a center raceway. The maximum battery size is 15.24 cm (6 in) Wide x 10.16 cm (4 in) High x 7 cm (2.75 in) Deep.

The KT-BB101 allows a battery to be placed anywhere on the left side of any cabinet. The maximum battery size is 15.24 cm (6 in) Wide x 10.16 cm (4 in) High x 7 cm (2.75 in) Deep.

The ioProx Transmitter is ideal for long-range (up to 45 m/150 ft) applications such as opening parking gates. The (2- or 4-button) transmitter is available with an optional integrated ioProx tag, which can be read by an ioProx card reader, making it an ideal solution to access both a parking facility and an office building without searching for multiple access cards. The ioProx transmitter uses radio-frequency (RF) technology secured with encrypted coding. The ioProx Receiver is field selectable for either 26-bit Wiegand format or for Kantech Extended Secure Format (XSF).

Kantech IP Link makes it easy and affordable to manage your Kantech access control system over a network. IP Link manages polling of door controllers and communicates with the EntraPass software only when an event has occurred for lower bandwidth usage. IP Link is easy to set up and configure. Use an EntraPass workstation, a web browser, or the KT-Finder, an intuitive standalone application designed to locate and configure the IP Link. IP Link uses 128-bit AES encryption to communicate with Entrapass software which ensures secure communication when used over the Internet. IP Link leverages Kantech’s robust KT-300 door controller to offer a powerful security solution for any size application. The EntraPass Access Control System can control access from one door to thousands of doors and, with IP Link, can effortlessly communicate over an existing network.
