PAXTON ACCESS INC P50M MULLION MOUNT- HID OR PAXTON COMPAT
P series readers are for use with Switch2 and Net2 systems. The reader is supplied with a black fascia only. Replacement fascias are available in black and white/grey from the Paxton Portal.
We have added Genuine HID Technology to the majority of our Paxton readers, they can now read HID 125kHz Proximity tokens, when licensed with an activation card. If required these readers can still be enabled to have Wiegand output, via a separate activation card.
Installation – The reader is wired as shown on the control unit label. Be sure to avoid mounting on metal surfaces or near other proximity readers as this will affect the read range. The cable exits centrally from the back of the reader making drilling and mounting very accurate.
Operation – A token is read by holding it within close proximity of the reader. Once a token has been read the control unit looks up the access permissions of that user. Access is then granted or denied as appropriate. If access is granted the green LED flashes.
PAXTON ACCESS INC NET2 PLUS PCB ONLY UL APPROVED
Net2 plus is a single door access control unit and is the most advanced control unit in the Paxton range. Employing the latest technology, it offers huge potential for future expansion and as security technology develops, Net2 plus can take full advantage. Unlike many systems of its type, Net2 plus is truly future-proof. Using Net2 plus ensures that the investment in access control is safe no matter how the system requirements change.
Net2 plus has on-board TCP/IP to allow direct connection to a computer network. This can save time, money and result in a better, more resilient system. Net2 plus control units can also be connected together using a dedicated RS485 network. This reduces the number of TCP/IP network points required for larger systems.
As with all Net2 control units, Net2 plus is designed to work seamlessly in the event of communications failure. It will continue to permit or deny access to users as appropriate. Once communications are re-established the activity is reporte

Net2 is a networked access control system. A networked system gives the advantages of central control, event reporting and flexible control over users’ access. Each control unit is part of a network but can run independently making its own decisions and remembering events.
The Net2 plus control unit connects to the central administration PC using an RJ45 plug into a standard TCP/IP Ethernet network. This greatly increases the flexibility of installation options on sites that have LAN/WAN networks. The Net2 plus control unit also has an RS485 connection. This means it can be connected to other Net2 plus or Net2 classic control units using a dedicated CAT5 cable.
