The Seco-Larm SD-995C Electric Door Strikes for Metal Doors from SECO-LARM converts cylindrical lock sets to an electronic access controlled locking system, which can be controlled through a keypad. The unit can be programmed for fail-secure operation (when power is lost or cut, the door is locked) or fail-safe operation (when power is lost or cut, the door is unlocked). This stainless steel device installs quickly in any metal door and can convert virtually any existing cylindrical lockset to an electronic access controlled locking system that allows for remote visitor entry. Just connect two wires to the access control E-931-S35RRQ or egress device, such as a digital keypad, push-button switch, or other device. The device is reversible for right or left-hand doors. The electric door strikes heavy-gauge construction withstands 2000 pounds (1 ton) of force.
