When this motion is detected, the sensor transmits an alarm signal to the control panel. The RF-ARPIR-345-NN is designed to allow the presence of pets (up to 22 lbs.) without signaling an alarm. These are the signals the unit provides: supervisory, tamper, and low battery (as needed). The sensor is powered by (2) replaceable 3- VDC, lithium coin-cell batteries.

The micro-processor trips the on-board transmitter when the temperature at the detector location reaches a fixed temperature of 135°F (57°C) or 200°F (93°C).

False alarm feature; 2-second button hold or 2 quick presses to send signal to the panel and onto central station for assistance. 2-second hold and 2 quick presses prevents false alarm from unintentional button press/bump.
