The PAD100-PSSA (Single Action) is activated by simply pulling the white “T” bar handle down. Once activated, the “T” bar cannot be reset without opening the front cover. Opening the front cover will also activate the pull station. To reset the PAD100-PS Series, use the Potter WS-93 key to unlock and open the front cover. Once the cover is open, push the “T” bar back into the normal position and re-secure the front cover.

The OSYSU is used to monitor the open position of an OS&Y (outside screw and yoke) type gate valve. This device is available in two models; the OSYSU-1, containing one set of SPDT (Form C) contacts and the OSYSU-2, containing two sets of SPDT (Form C) contacts. These switches mount conveniently to most OS&Y valves ranging in size from 2” to 12” (50mm to 300mm). They will mount on some valves as small as “ (12,5mm). The cover is held in place by two tamper resistant screws that require a special tool to remove. The tool is furnished with each device and should be left with the building owner or responsible party. Replacement or additional cover screws and hex keys are available.

The Model PCVS is a weather proof and tamper resistant switch for monitoring the open position of fire sprinkler control valves of the wall and yard post indicator and butterfly types. Two SPDT (Form C) contacts are provided which will operate when the valve position is altered from an open state. The unit mounts in a 1/2” NPT tapped hole in the post indicator or butterfly valve housing. The device is engaged by the indicating assembly of the post indicator or the operating mechanism of the butterfly valve, actuating switches when the valve is fully open. The unit should be installed where it is accessible for service. The cover is held in place by two tamper resistant screws that require a special tool to remove. The tool is furnished with each device.

The Model PTS-C is designed to supervise sprinkler system control valves and may also be used to secure gates and other applications. This unit is particularly useful for unusual conditions, such as non-rising stem valves.
Nema 6P enclosure allows the device to be mounted outdoors, even in areas subject to flooding such as pits and wells. Sealed reed switch operation virtually eliminates contact corrosion.
Turning the valve wheel will pull the plug out of the receptacle. The plug cannot be reinserted after operation until the plug receptacle cover is removed with the special hex key provided. The Potter PAD100-6DB and PAD100-4DB detector bases are used to install Potter’s addressable smoke and heat detectors. The PAD100-6DB will mount on a single gang, double gang, octagon or 4” square electrical box.

The Addressable Low Frequency Sounder Base (PAD300-LFSB) is a sounder base that may be utilized in a variety of applications. The base has a locking feature for the detector that may be used or removed in the field. Once the head is removed, the sounder is accessible in the bottom of the unit. The PAD300-LFSB low frequency sounder base is designed to meet NFPA 72 sleeping space requirements to produce a frequency of 520 Hz +/- 10% with a square wave. It is shown that a lower frequency, centered around 520 Hz, is the ideal to awaken sleeping occupants, even those with mild to severe hearing loss. The base has an independent sounder module that may be programmed as a single station, zone or all call sounder. The PAD300-LFSB passes through the sound pattern sent to the sounder, therefore it may reproduce in any pattern the power supply provides.
