The HID 6005BKB00 is a ProxPointPlus reader with pigtail leads, a standard 00 configuration for basic reader functionality and beep on LED lights for positive/negative card read indication. The device comes in a sleek, black body and can be mounted directly onto metal without reducing its read range. With a durable construction, this reader works in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The sealed environment 212SE style keypad features a brushed metal housing that has been treated to resist corrosion and an all metal Braille, alpha-numeric keypad. There is an internal sounder that is used to indicate key press feedback, and a bi-color LED to indicate operation. The housing has been designed to mount directly on a standard single-gang electrical box, or to most flat surfaces.
