POTTER VANE TYPE WATERFLOW SWITCH 2"
The Model VSR is a vane type waterflow switch for use on wet sprinkler systems. It is UL Listed and FM Approved for use on steel pipe; schedules 10 through 40, sizes 2” thru 8” (50 mm thru 200 mm). LPC approved sizes are 2” thru 8” (50 mm thru 200 mm). See Ordering Information chart. The VSR may also be used as a sectional waterflow detector on large systems. The VSR contains two single pole, double throw, snap action switches and an adjustable, instantly recycling pneumatic retard. The switches are actuated when a flow of 10 GPM (38 LPM) or more occurs downstream of the device. The flow condition must exist for a period of time necessary to overcome the selected retard period.
POTTER HEAT DETECTOR 135 DEG VERTICAL MT ALL-WE
The Thermotech 302 Series rate-anticipation heat detectors operate within a controlled range of two to three degrees of their set points, regardless of the speed or rate of temperature rise. These detectors are available in either 135°F (57.2°C) or 194°F (90°C) ratings.
The 302 Series are normally-open devices designed especially for fire detection and alarm systems. Hermetically sealed for moisture-proof or dust-proof installations. Requires no special backbox when the all-weather leads are properly spliced to “THW” or equivalent type wire.
POTTER VANE WATERFLOW SWITCH 1-2"PIPE
The Model VSR-S is a vane type waterflow switch for use on wet sprinkler systems that use 1” (25mm), 11/4” (32mm), 11/2” (38mm) or 2” (50mm) pipe size. The unit may also be used as a sectional waterflow detector on large systems.
The unit contains two single pole double throw snap action switches and an adjustable, instantly recycling pneumatic retard. The switches are actuated when a flow of 10 gallons per minute (38 LPM) or more occurs downstream of the device. The flow condition must exist for a period of time necessary to overcome the selected retard period.
POTTER CALIFORNIA FIREBELL 10" 120VAC
These vibrating type bells are designed for use as fire, burglar or general signaling devices. They have low power consumption and high decibel ratings. The unit mounts on a standard 4” (101mm) square electrical box for indoor use or on a model BBK-1 weatherproof backbox or BBX-1 deep weatherproof backbox for outdoor applications. Weatherproof backbox model BBK-1, Stock No. 1500001.
POTTER 6" 12VDC BELL RED
These vibrating type bells are designed for use as fire or general signaling devices. They have low power consumption and high decibel ratings. The unit mounts on a standard 4” (101mm) square electrical box for indoor use or on a model BBK-1 or HC-BB weatherproof backbox for outdoor applications. Weatherproof backbox model BBK- 1 or HC-BB, Stock No. 1500001.
POTTER PAD 100 6" BASE
The PAD100-6DB is a low-profile, surface mount base used with Potter’s addressable detectors. The base uses screw- clamp terminals that accept wire ranging from 22 to 14 AWG. When installed on recessed electrical boxes the PAD100-6DB is wide enough to completely cover the back box and the immediate surrounding area. The base is equipped with a locking tab to deter unauthorized removal of the attached detector. The Potter PAD100-6DB detector bases are used to install Potter’s addressable smoke and heat detectors. The PAD100- 6DB will mount on a single gang, double gang, octagon or 4” square electrical box.
POTTER VANE WATERFLOW SWITCH 3"
POTTER ZONE MODULE ASSEMBLIES EVAX-ZM
The Evax EVX-ZM is a supervised Zone Module. It is used in conjunction with the EVAX 25/50/100/150/200 to enable separately supervised and protected circuits from a single speaker output. The EVX-ZM is standardly configured for 4 Class B circuits, but may be converted to 2 Class A with the flip of a switch. The EVX-ZM may be ganged together to provide a maximum of 64 Class B circuits.
Each speaker circuit employs a smart power metering to insure short circuit conditions are isolated from the other circuits. Each circuit is rated 50W @ 70V and 40W @25V.
If separate inputs are needed for Message selection, an EVX- IL8 can easily be configured for external contacts.
POTTER PAD 100 ONE RELAY/ONE INPUT
The PAD100-TRTI uses one (1) SLC loop address when monitoring two (2) Class B circuits or one (1) Class A circuit. The PAD100-TRTI also provides two (2) Form C relay contacts. The module mounts on either a 4” square or double gang box. The module is capable of monitoring two (2) separate Class B circuits making it ideal for monitoring sprinkler waterflow and valve tamper switches when they are located in the same proximity. The PAD100-TRTI includes one red LED to indicate the module’s status. In normal condition, the LED flashes when the device is being polled by the control panel. When an input is activated, the LED will flash at a fast rate.
POTTER VIB.DET./UL SAFE/STAND ALONE
The EVD-1, Electronic Vibration Detector, is listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. for primary protection of Mercantile or Bank, safe or vault, ATM machines and supplementary protection of interior units such as file cabinets, display cases, walls and ceilings. The detector must be used with an appropriate UL listed control unit.
The EVD-1 controller detects short duration, large amplitude signals like those produced in attacks from explosions, hammering or chiseling. It also detects long duration, small amplitude signals like those produced in attacks from torches, thermic lances, drills, grinders or cutting discs. As soon as the EVD-1 detects a large amplitude alarm source it signals an alarm.
