The EVD-2, Electronic Vibration Detector System, is listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. for primary protection of Mercantile or Bank, safe or vault, ATM machines and supplementary protection of interior units such as file cabinets, display cases, walls and ceilings. The System must be used with an appropriate UL listed control unit. The standard EVD-2 system consists of a model EVD-M controller and a model EVD-R remote pickup.
The EVD-M controller detects short duration, large amplitude signals like those produced in attacks from explosions, hammering or chiseling. It also detects long duration, small amplitude signals like those produced in attacks from torches, thermic lances, drills, grinders or cutting discs. As soon as the EVD-M detects a large amplitude alarm source it signals an alarm. The EVD-M controller supports up to 15 EVD-R remote pickups, (or may be used as a stand alone unit), and fully supervises EVD-R wiring.

The Potter PS10 Series Pressure Actuated Switches are designed for the detection of a waterflow condition in automatic fire sprinkler systems of particular designs such as wet pipe systems with alarm check valves, dry pipe, preaction, or deluge valves. The PS10 is also suitable to provide a low pressure supervisory signal; adjustable between 4 and 15 psi (0,27 and 1,03 bar).

The EVD-R remote pickup detects attack vibrations with the same vibration sensing components as the internal pickup on the EVD-M controller. The EVD-R amplifies and transmits these vibrations to the EVD-M controller. A cover tamper and a back tamper protect the EVD-R from cover removal or prying. If either of these tampers activate or the tamper from the safe contact interface activates, the EVD-R will signal a tamper condition to the EVD-M. During a tamper condition, the EVD-R network is fully capable of signaling alarm conditions to the EVD-M controller. If more than five EVD-R remote pickups simultaneously signal tamper to the EVD-M controller, the EVD-M will signal an alarm. The EVD-R contains a magnetically activated test switch that permits testing of each EVD-R in the remote pickup network. The EVD-R provides terminals for the connection of dry contacts from any Underwriters Laboratories listed safe contact.

The CR Series detectors are combination Rate-of-Rise and Fixed Temperature. The Rate-of-Rise function allows the detector to operate when the temperature at the detector increases at a rate of 15°F per minute. The Fixed Temperature portion will cause the detector to operate when it reaches the applicable temperature. The Rate-of-Rise portion of the detector is restorable; however the Fixed Temperature portion is non-restorable.

The Potter Special Application Pull Station Series offers a complete line of die-cast pull stations for a variety of applications with various colors and descriptions. The pull stations are available in single or dual action models, weather proof, explosion proof and multiple contact configurations. All of the pull stations have a 10-amp snap action switch and a dedicated terminal block for the ease of wire connections. All of the metal is completely coated to inhibit corrosion and provide for a uniform and quality finish.
The weather proof and explosion proof models include the appropriate back box with the pull station. The explosion proof is also inherently weather proof.

The Potter VSR is a vane type waterflow switch with non-corrosive insert for use on wet sprinkler systems. It is UL Listed and FM Approved for use on steel pipe. Models available for pipe sizes 2” through 10”. The Potter VSR series is the industry standard for flow switches for fire sprinkler systems and is compatible with the widest range of pipe schedules (5 through 40) in the industry as well as all necessary listings and approvals for installation worldwide.

Potter’s PFC-5008 Fire Alarm Control Panel is a microprocessor based unit designed for small to medium commercial, residential, multi- family, institutional and industrial occupancies. Fully configurable using DIP switches, it enables the user to configure the system to meet their specific requirements. The PFC-5008 is a PFC-5004E with the ZA42 expansion card factory installed. In addition, the preassembled kit contains a UDACT-9100 for digital communication.
The PFC-5008 comes standard with 8 Class B (Style B) Initiating Circuits which may be configured as 4 Class A (Style D) circuits. In addition, it comes equipped with 4 Class A/B (Style Z/Y) Indicating circuits which are each rated at 1.7 amps. The panel also includes a 5 Amp Power Supply which powers the system and supplies a 4-wire resettable regulated smoke power supply of 24 VDC 100mA maximum.

The Model HSC is a High Security Contact Switch to monitor the open or closed position of safe and vault doors. The switch includes design features, which makes it highly defeat resistant in critical environments.

The Potter FaSpK-Wp, SpKST24-Wp Series is an outdoor listed, wall mount, field adjustable speaker and speaker/strobe designed to meet code requirements for audio, visual, and voice communications. The SPKST24-WP speaker/strobe offers a fixed 15/75 candela strobe.
The FASPK-WP Series provides a 25 or 70.7 VRMs speaker with field selectable power taps of 1/8W, 1/4W, 1/2W, 1W, 2W, or 4W. The SPKST24-WP provides a fixed 15/75 candela strobe output. The strobe can be synchronized using the Potter AVSM Synchronization Control Module, FACP, or power supplies that produce a Gentex Synchronization Protocol.
